2. Acceptance and Changes to these Terms
By using the Website you confirm that you accept these Terms of Use together with our Privacy Notice and Cookie Policy, and that you agree to comply with them. We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Website after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
3. Who May Use the Website
The Website is intended for business users aged 18 or over, including insurance and reinsurance professionals, cedants, capacity providers, brokers, consultants and regulators. It is not directed at consumers or retail clients, and nothing on the Website should be construed as an offer of reinsurance cover or regulated advice to a retail audience.
4. Nature of Website Content
The Website provides general information about our reinsurance broking and advisory services, our territories of operation, our insights, and our published materials. The content is provided for general information purposes only and is subject to the following important limitations:
- Not an offer or solicitation. Nothing on the Website constitutes an offer to provide, or a solicitation to purchase, any reinsurance, insurance or financial product. Reinsurance cover is only placed under a written contract executed by the relevant parties.
- Not advice. Information on the Website is not intended to be, and should not be relied on as, professional, regulatory, legal, actuarial, tax or accounting advice. Advice is only given in writing, under a signed engagement, by an appropriately authorised representative of the Company.
- No binding quotations. Pricing indications, capacity appetite, or sample wordings shown on the Website are illustrative only and are not binding.
- Jurisdictional limits. Services are made available only where the Company and its affiliates are legally permitted to do so. The Website is not directed at any person in any jurisdiction where providing or accessing the Website would be contrary to applicable law.
5. Accuracy of Information
We take reasonable care to ensure that information on the Website is accurate and up to date. However, we make no representation or warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness, reliability, suitability or currency of the content. Market data, regulatory references and case studies may date quickly, and you should not rely on the Website as the sole basis for any decision.
6. Enquiries and Form Submissions
The Website offers several forms through which you may contact us (including the general contact form, risk-submission form, careers enquiry form and complaints coordinator form). The following terms apply to every submission you make through the Website.
6.1 Purpose and non-binding nature
Submitting an enquiry or risk information through a form does not create a broking mandate, a contract, an offer or a binding relationship of any kind. No reinsurance cover is bound, placed, extended, varied or terminated by a website submission. Cover only exists under a duly executed reinsurance contract or binding authority agreement.
6.2 Information you submit
You must provide information that is accurate, complete and not misleading. You must not submit any information:
- that you are not authorised to disclose, including confidential information or trade secrets of a third party;
- that contains personal data of another individual unless you have a lawful basis and have complied with applicable notice requirements;
- that contains special categories of personal data (such as health data) unless specifically requested by us;
- that is subject to legal privilege or to restrictions under sanctions, export-control or anti-bribery laws;
- that contains viruses, malware or other harmful code.
We reserve the right to refuse, delete or return any submission that contravenes these Terms.
6.3 How we handle submissions
Submissions are routed to the appropriate territory or team for review. We aim to acknowledge enquiries within a reasonable time but do not guarantee any response time. We may decline to act on any enquiry at our sole discretion, including where conflicts of interest, sanctions, or regulatory considerations apply. For the avoidance of doubt, silence or inaction on our part does not constitute acceptance.
6.4 Claim notifications
The Website is not a claims portal. Any information regarding a potential or actual claim submitted through a Website form is for indicative and routing purposes only. Formal claim notifications must be made in accordance with the notification provisions of the applicable reinsurance contract, using the channels specified in that contract.
6.5 Data protection
Personal data submitted through the Website is processed in accordance with our Privacy Notice and the Mauritian Data Protection Act 2017, and, where applicable, the UK GDPR.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website – including text, graphics, logos, images, photographs, audio and video material, data, source code, layout and the overall look and feel – is owned by or licensed to the Company and is protected by copyright, trade-mark and other intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and view the Website for your own internal, lawful business purposes. You may download and print a single copy of pages for personal reference.

- reproduce, republish, distribute, sub-license, sell, rent, lease or otherwise commercially exploit any content from the Website;
- use any part of the Website for the benefit of a competing service;
- frame, scrape, mirror, or use any automated means to extract data from the Website;
- remove, obscure or alter any copyright, trade-mark or other proprietary notices.

8. Downloads of Articles, Market Commentary and Case Studies
Certain materials made available on the Website (including articles, market commentary and case studies) may be downloaded for your internal reference only. You may not redistribute, publish, repackage or share those materials externally without our prior written consent. All copyright and similar notices must be preserved on any copy.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Website in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent or harmful, or in connection with any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose. In particular, you must not:

- reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the Website;
- use the Website to transmit, or procure the sending of, any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material;
- impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
A breach of this clause may constitute a criminal offence under applicable law. We will report any such breach to the relevant authorities and co-operate with them.
10. Linking to the Website
You may link to our homepage provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it. You must not establish a link from any website that is not owned by you, or in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists.
11. Third-Party Links and Content
The Website may contain links to third-party websites and resources. These links are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over the content of those websites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.
12. Availability of the Website
The Website is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We do not guarantee that the Website, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. We may suspend, withdraw, discontinue or change all or any part of the Website without notice. We will not be liable to you if, for any reason, the Website is unavailable at any time or for any period.
13. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all representations, warranties, conditions and other terms that might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or the law of equity, including warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose and non-infringement.
14. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
Subject to the paragraph above, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable to you for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, arising under or in connection with:
- your use of, or inability to use, the Website;
- your reliance on any content displayed on the Website;
- loss of profits, sales, business or revenue, business interruption, loss of anticipated savings, loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation, or any indirect or consequential loss or damage.
These limitations do not affect any contractual rights and remedies you may have under a separate written agreement with us.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from and against any claim, liability, loss, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Website, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.
16. Privacy and Cookies
Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Notice and our Cookie Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
17. Regulatory Disclaimers
The Company is regulated in Mauritius by the Financial Services Commission. Nothing on the Website is intended to constitute marketing or offering of regulated products or services in any jurisdiction where the Company is not authorised to do so. Where activity in a given territory is carried out through an authorised branch or affiliate, that entity’s authorisation applies locally.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
19. No Waiver
Our failure or delay to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
20. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Notice and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your use of the Website, and supersede any prior agreements, statements or understandings.
21. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms, their subject matter and their formation are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius. You and we agree that the courts of Mauritius shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or their subject matter, save that we retain the right to bring proceedings against you in any other jurisdiction where you are located or where the relevant breach occurred.
